The problem here was that my code for Selenium refused to execute on Heroku. I wasn&#8217;t able to find any information about this issue readily available online, so when I finally solved the issue,  I went ahead and created the above video tutorial. Several people have commented that this method fixed their problems, so I&#8217;ll post a text version of this tutorial as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Step 1: Set Up Your Code<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Add the following lines to your code before you use Selenium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>from selenium import webdriver\nimport os\n\nchrome_options = webdriver.ChromeOptions()\nchrome_options.binary_location = os.environ.get(\"GOOGLE_CHROME_BIN\")\nchrome_options.add_argument(\"--headless\")\nchrome_options.add_argument(\"--disable-dev-shm-usage\")\nchrome_options.add_argument(\"--no-sandbox\")\ndriver = webdriver.Chrome(executable_path=os.environ.get(\"CHROMEDRIVER_PATH\"), chrome_options=chrome_options)\n\n# Now you can start using Selenium<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h2>Step 2: Add the Buildpacks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On Heroku, open your App. Click on the Settings tab and scroll down to Buildpacks. Add the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Python (Select it from the officially supported buildpacks)<\/li><li>Headless Google Chrome:  <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/heroku\/heroku-buildpack-google-chrome\">https:\/\/github.com\/heroku\/heroku-buildpack-google-chrome<\/a> <\/li><li>Chromedriver:  <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/heroku\/heroku-buildpack-chromedriver\">https:\/\/github.com\/heroku\/heroku-buildpack-chromedriver<\/a> <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2>Step 3: Add the Config Vars<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Scroll to the config vars section. Here, we will add the paths to Chrome and the Chromedriver.
